White Hat Search Engine Optimization

White Hat SEO refers to using techniques that Google likes, and will not penalize you for. Black Hat on the other end, will earn you massive amounts of money, but will get you banned. I have practiced black hat in the past, and trust me, the work involved will eat up 20 hours of your day, and I am not pulling your leg, at all. These techniques are what I have found to be considered White Hat by Google and should be updated as I figure out new ones.

Google AdSense
- Setting up a "thin" site, with rambling posts, or little information, and proper ad placement, can earn a good number of clicks with a nice traffic stream.


Affiliate Promotion
- Using ClickBank, CommissionJunction, eBay, Amazon, or ShareASale.com and SEO / Google Trafic to earn commissions.

List Building
- Promoting active products to your newsletter / mailing list.

eCommerce
- Setting up a product catalog, with a cart, and accepting orders. Filling orders as they come in with a dropship wholesale distributor.

Advertising Space
- Selling a banner or text link ad for a certain dollar amount per month, according to how many page views your website gets.

Building Related Content / "Friends" List

Once you gather a list of sites and links for each of these categories, compile them into a list of your niches "friends". Check these sites every few days for updates, to see if you may be able to drop a new deep link to your pages. Don't abuse it!

50 Article Directories For Hand Submission Article Marketing

When you create a new article, or post that can be converted into an article, you should rewrite it. Once you rewrite the post into a new article, or just the article, you can hand submit it to each of these directories. Google's duplicate content doesn't apply, because these are such high PR directories. Registration is required at all of them. It is ok to use primary email for these directories.
